Definition of GOOD MORNING:
Good morning = HELLO
Use this before noon.
Definition of GOOD AFTERNOON:
Use this from noon until approximately 5:00 p.m.
Definition of GOOD EVENING:
Use this from approximately 5:00 p.m. to midnight.
Definition of GOOD NIGHT:
Use this from approximately 4:00 p.m. on.
This is used when:
- you leave work at the end of the workday,
- you go to bed at night (you say this to the members of your household), or
- you part with others in the evening.
